Seeking other local musicians to play and write with

Looking for other local musicians nearby to Petaluma to play with (my last band was a victim of COVID). I'm up for some in-person jamming and/or working together on some songwriting. I play guitar mainly (but also bass and ukulele) and sing fairly ok, and enjoy writing, coming up with arrangements (whether for a band or 2 guitars), and working on basic vocal harmonies. I grew up on the Beatles and gravitate towards interesting music with catchy melodies and a good beat - some favorites include Neil Finn/Crowded House, Deerhunter, Elton John, Low, Tom Petty, Interpol, Sloan, The Posies, XTC, Urge Overkill, and reggae among many others - I'm currently loving the new Del Amitri album! I'm not too into jam bands or just playing classic rock and am more a "power pop" guy. It'd be ideal to find someone else also interested in creating and working on original music and seeing where it goes. Music is a great social outlet, and I miss grabbing a beer with others and playing or even just chatting about music. If this sounds interesting, reply and let's see if we connect!
