DOLPHIN ISLE PRESCHOOL (.com) now accepts full time from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 1:00 on Fridays. COVID-19 preparations and procedures follow Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. Our preschool's teaching program is designed for children at least 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Teacher/child ratio is one adult for every six children. ************************************************ Licensed since 1999 by California Dept. of Social Services # 414000696. Facility and program accreditation awarded by the National Assoc. for Family Child Care (NAFCC) in 2008. We offer a professional preschool program that is consistent with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Guidelines for curriculum content, but rest assured, we are as serious about having fun as we are about the teaching and learning process. A copy of the daily schedule and curriculum is provided at the interview. Many references available. Our Preschool provides a daily schedule of arts, crafts, music and age-appropriate preschool curriculum in a safe, caring, nurturing and fun environment. Monthly themes with activities, which are developmentally appropriate and designed to facilitate growth socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Our goal is to prepare children for a strong beginning in school. Waterfront grass play area (fenced), vegetable garden and fruit trees provide many opportunities for environmental teaching.
