I'm need of car to get to doctor appointments

I'm a cancer patient currently without a car. I have a little money saved and desperately need to find something to get my self back and forth to treatment. There is no one to drive me. I'm looking for something cheap but reliable. $2000 or less. I know I'm asking for a miracle. I also like to refurbish small furniture so hoping it's something that will help me facilitate that. If anyone knows of something. Please let me know.
