General Labor, Clay - Start time 4am/5am - 130pm starting pay $16 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Inspects pieces coming out of TC dryer for cracks/defects/other various issues reporting any findings to Supervisor (Initial Quality Check). • May be loading based off Priority/Color designated list insuring pieces loaded are matching to pieces listed. Discrepancies to be reported. • Accurately logs pieces loaded/prepped on to the Spray line daily log sheet. • May need the assistance of a hoist with proper training. • Assisting with patching/cleaning pieces with minor defects. • Responsible for carefully pulling masked off areas from pieces freshly glazed, while not contaminate surrounding areas. • Carefully un-loading finished pieces from the glaze line onto pallets. • Listing all palletized pieces onto a pallet loading list that will go with each loaded pallet. • Responsible for operation of the glaze line turning on and off per sprayers/masker’s request. • Final Quality check before pieces are sent to Kiln for firing. • Keeping working area clean and free of tripping hazards. • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. • Regular attendance is required.
