We are a family owned farm looking to add some fresh faces! We've got two spots open for the right people. Do you have a good attitude? Do you like to slay the day and be proud of your work when you're done? Do you put in the same effort whether or not the boss is around? Are you flexible and able to switch gears when the plan changes? We'd like to hear from you! Experience is nice, but absolutely not necessary. We have our way of doing things, and we are ready to train you the way we've done it for years. Your position will include all the normal farm tasks- Cutting clones. Transplanting plants. Watering and feeding. Pulling tarps. Leafing. Harvesting, weighing and hanging plants. Bucking down and preparing plants for transport when dried. (These can be long, hot days, but we snack all day, play the music loud and dance while we go, so harvest around here is my favorite time!) You need to- Listen to directions. We do it how we do it and that's how it goes! We are always open to ideas, but you have to share them first and not decide to change procedures on your own. Be open to talking and expressing your thoughts and concerns, and be able to listen to ours. Be able to apply our feedback to your work. You must have reliable transportation... 4WD is best for these roads. You must be available at least 5 days a week, sometimes more during planting and harvest. If you know how to use tools and how to fix small machines, that's a definite plus, but not necessary. You must provide at least two work references. We require you to keep farm and property information private and confidential. We won't share your details with anyone, and you can't share ours. We offer- Pay is $15-$18 to start, with possible increase if you finish the season and become permanent. We hope it works out this way! We pay every two weeks. You will be a legal employee and fill out a W2 form. On site rooming is available. We have incredible views! We are a 45 minute drive from Redway. We have two spots on mountain tops and another with trees and sky for days. We have a veggie garden you are welcome to eat from! A dog would be a welcome addition.
