Press release from the City of Jackson: May 28, 2021 Due to our limited number of Lifeguards the COJ Pools will open Starting June 4, 2021 and rotate the days until July 30th . We are currently opening looking for Lifeguards to add additional days to this current schedule and will update the schedule accordingly. Please add this information to the City's Website. Listed below is a COJ Swimming Pool schedule that will commences on Friday, June 4, 2021. 2pm-5pm Monday- Saturday Friday's- Grove Park 1905 Northside Drive Saturday's- McDowell Road 2855 Oak Forest Monday's- Vine Street 318 Vine Street Tuesday's- VA Legion 4500 Officer Thomas Catchings Drive Wednesday's- Battlefield Park 627 Porter Street Thursday's- Russell C. Davis 2080 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive ***Terry Road (New Horizon Ministries) & Mills Street (Soul City Church) will provide pool services but they're operating on a M.O.U. with the COJ and they will provide their schedule*** This press release was produced by the City of Jackson.
