We are a beach wheelchair and portable scooter rental company seeking a contract driver to deliver and pick up wheelchairs. The contractor needs to have a pickup truck OR cargo van to do this gig. This is the perfect side gig for anyone who has a truck and wants to make income in the evenings, which is when we do most of our deliveries and pick ups. Since the customers are actually using these beach wheelchairs during the day, we find that evening hours are the best time to get the chairs set up for the next customers. The way it works: We will offer you a set of moves on a daily basis, which will come in the form of a text message of pick up and delivery addresses. At that time you can choose to accept or decline the routes. You never actually have to meet with customers. We just drop the electric beach wheelchairs off in hotel or condominium parking lots and place the key in the lock box on the back of the chair. You just have to drive around Ocean City in peace, moving chairs from one place to another without interference from others. Drivers track their own time and report to us how much we owe. We can pay electronically via Paypal or Cashapp. PAY: $25/hr (mileage/gas is built into this calculated hourly rate). You put yourself on the clock as soon as you get into Ocean City, and end the time after your last drop off. You get paid during your route whether at a given point in time you do or do not have a wheelchair in your truck.
