Light Maintenance Technician (Handyman), is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing minor repairs on building and equipment. Work 8-10 hours per week, $15 per hour Their duties include checking machinery, simple maintenance tasks, inspecting building conditions to insure safe building operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following : Simple Plumbing Task (i.e. leaky faucet repair, fix running toilet) Rearrange room furnishings, perform room set up Replace light bulbs, air filters etc. Check mechanical and environmental systems (notify appropriate persons of any problems) Perform small fixes or improvements,(i.e repair loose door handle, execute a small paint job) Monitor professional tradesmen performing work at the building site. Respond to emergency off hour request to check building conditions. Candidate should have transportation, Start @ $15.00 per hour Call 703.860.1200 for interview.
