Looking for some like minded musicians to start an alternative acoustic band. I am mostly a vocalist, pretty good at writing lyrics, and a complete beginner on keys and guitar. (I am also classically trained on clarinet and bass clarinet so I can read music etc.) Hoping to find a very proficient acoustic guitar player, maybe some light percussion as well as possibly another vocalist, male/female doesn’t matter, all ages and backgrounds welcome. The direction I kind of want to go in/my influences are The Lumineers, Of Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Bon Iver, Vance Joy, Joni Mitchell, Gregory Alan Isakov etc. A little about me- my name is Kat, I’m 31, been in and out of the industry since I was 16 mostly in Austin, So Cal, and upstate New York, pretty new to the Vegas scene lol.
