Tentatively looking for a home for Laika Laika is a 2 year old German Shepherd that has been spayed, vaccinated, and has some basic training. Unfortunately she’s wants to play very roughly with my smaller dogs and due to my living arrangements possibly changing very soon, I won’t be able to keep them completely seperated. She is not intentionally trying to hurt them, she just wants to play and is very rough. She would do well with another large/medium breed dog that also enjoys playing. She is low-medium drive and energy. Can be wary of strangers. Will snark at other dogs from behind a fence but will not back up her “threats”. She was adopted from the San Antonio pound last October when she was on the Euthanasia list. She has done very very well with a family. It is likely that she has some grade of hip dysplasia and will need care when she ages. She is on a OTC joint supplement rn. You MUST prevent her from becoming obese as that would lead to extreme joint pain and arthritis.
