Looking for talented supporting mates for gigs and recording. Desired Abilities/Experience: 1. Know how to play with soul. 2. Know when less is more. 3. Know the art of playing parts and the concepts of elements in composition. 4. Be free from the burden of a bloated ego. 5. Be free from the bonds of addiction. 6. Be a nice person. I am a singer/songwriter looking to pull together a professional unit that will stand upon any stage anywhere and be invited back because we put on a great show by knowing and loving what we do so much that we spread it like a happy virus. Good vibes are highly transmissible. Good band mates, solid in person, skill and attitude will do that. It really is that simple (though not so accessible). My music is diverse but falls in the acoustic/electric folk/rock/countryish genres. It's singer/songwriter as much as that is a category. My main instrument is guitar but I have studied jazz piano extensively. Much of my material is threaded with jazz influence. Cameo on other instruments also. Seeking accompaniment. Open to the construction of the rhythm section & others but will need another singer or two. 4 or 5 pieces. Versatility is welcome.
