Our Mission At CookUnity, we are on a mission of helping our Independent Chefs to expand and grow their teams. You will have the chance to work and learn the craft from top culinary innovators and Michelin-starred. Their menus are continually changing, which means you'll never be bored! Our Kitchen Our Commissary Kitchen is located in North Eastern, Austin. Our Independent Chefs make everything in-house with quality and, as much as possible, local ingredients. The Role Warehouse Manager As we begin to build our newest kitchen collective in Austin, TX we seek a person to be boots- on- the- ground and available on site for the following tasks; accept shipments of kitchen/office equipment and supplies, organize these deliveries into their proper locations and/or storage area, build interior storage units like storage shelving, cooking equipment, and/or chef’s working tables, to be point of contact with the expansion manager and facilities team, and help set up the organizational layout of the work spaces. This person should be able to lift heavy packages and operate a pallet jack, be extremely organized, a self starter, and be able to direct other people in tasks. This position is a 3 month contract with the possibility of full time employment. Compensation will be based on experience.
