Photo Booth attendants Wanted! Part-Time Event Work
Events
Petaluma CA
Description
Hi! My wife and I own and operate a small photo booth rental business (6 photo booths) and we need to begin re-building our team of outgoing, super polite, fun, energetic and tech-savvy people for our upcoming events this year (assuming COVID restrictions permit). Most of our core team has moved on to other opportunities or out of town, so we need some new team members! Specifically looking for another person or two with some weekday availability. The gig looks like this: you would pick up or meet for the equipment, transport and set up the photo booth at the venue (it's not one of those big heavy machines, don't worry). Then, you just PRESS START and help people have a good time by handing them props, suggesting poses, and just plain BEING FUN! You would ensure that everyone is centered or framed well in the photo, it looks good and prints out ok, as well as helping them email or text their photo to themselves then break it all down at the end and upload photos when you get home (or while you're breaking down)! Changing the printer media and sometimes some tech troubleshooting... That's it! Like I said, we're currently looking for another person or two with some weekday availability and ideally be available for weekend work as well, as the majority of events are Friday and Saturday nights. Requirements: MUST have your own insured transportation (at LEAST a 4-door sedan or hatchback as you will be hauling cargo bins and a folding table) - MUST be at least 18, 21 preferable for events at bars. The bins containing the gear can weigh about 50lbs. Their not light, but they're manageable. Outgoing, fun, personable, tech savvy is helpful (know how to work a computer, printer troubleshooting, connecting camera to computer, camera settings, etc.) but can show you what you need to know to get the job done for the most part. Having a fun and happy, outgoing personality is really what makes the experience great for the guests, which is our primary aim at each and every event! In fact, we value it so much that we'll give you a bonus for each and every 5-star review we get from the events you work! We would prefer an aspiring photographer, but its definitely not necessary and am willing to train the right people. We're really looking for people that take initiative and pride in their work and enjoys helping people have a good time. You would become an actual part-time employee on payroll and covered with workers' comp. Not an under-the-table or independent contractor gig (unless, of course you have your own equipment and insurance, then we can talk about that.) I'm based in Petaluma, (as is all the equipment currently) and could use another person around here in the North Bay and need some people in SF. We get alot of events out in Walnut Creek and Danville area and even as far south as San Jose and up to Sacramento as well, so be comfortable driving! (We do reimburse for mileage over 30 miles). Let's see if you can follow directions from the start: Please EMAIL me at and tell me: 1) a little bit about yourself 2) why this would be a good job for you 3) when we can set up and in-person or video meeting to see if you will be a good fit 4) how you feel you meet the skills and basic requirements of the gig We currently have bookings flooding in throughout the rest of the year and expect more as people feel safe enough to party again and restrictions are lifted. COVID vaccinated attendants are being requested often, so that would help get you more work. This is a great gig for a student! Potential opportunity for growth into management or sales in the future for the right person. It would be really great to hand over the reigns to someone in the next few years, so business development students are welcome! I look forward to hearing from you!
