RE4: The idiot who thinks Dems and Reps "switched"

Republicans have definitely become the party of the lunatic weirdos. The true conservatives bite their tongues while the “eccentrics” take the spotlight. The Democratic Party is demonstrating stability and maturity. The Republican Party is represented by extremists and conspiracy nuts. When Trump was elected, the only thing that I knew for sure is that Trump would destroy the Republican Party. I could not have been more right. The Republican Party is a joke right now. As a true independent, I once respected the GOP. Now, I m ashamed on their behalf. I currently respect the stability of the Biden administration. The big question is... will the Republican Party find a way to rebrand itself and emerge from it’s current situation. Personally, I could care less either way. The only way that I see the Republican Party surviving is if they find a fresh new non extremist leader/frontman (or woman). The Republican Party needs a young hero. I don’t see any obvious candidates for this, but there must be a few out there. The GOP needs to move away from the Trump circus and away from the stuffy old white guy image. But they will not. The one thing that we know about republicans is that they are stubborn and they dislike change. As an opponent of the political party system, I am enjoying the anarchy that the GOP brings.
