Aren't you all missing the big picture? Democrats were the dominant Party in Tulsa, all of Oklahoma for that matter in 1921. Their Jim Crow Laws ruled the state and they had a large Ku Klux Klan (Democrats) presence causing the race riot massacre. This goes a long way proving Democrats back then and still today are the real source of any systemic racism in the US. It's the Democrats who constantly claim without them Blacks can't achieve or protect themselves on their own and any success Blacks have is because of Democrats allowing it. It was Biden who said dismissively when asked by a Black journalist why Blacks should vote for him who said they're not Black if they don't vote for him. In essence Biden implied the Democrats own Blacks as they did pre civil War. Racism towards Blacks by Republicans is antithetical to their core beliefs, it's only the Democrats control of the news media and educational system that has shifted the blame. It makes as much sense as claiming Israel is pro Iranian Mullah regime. Ah, the old fault on both sides argument. Kinda like what happened in Charlottesville? Or at the Capitol building? You might want to take a look at that 2001 commission report again with regard to the massacre in 1921. They estimate that between 75 and 300 blacks were actually killed. It’s hard to get an accurate count because victims were shoveled into mass graves. Excavations are currently ongoing to determine where they are. Sorry to harsh your vibe, cupcake, but the truth about history can sting a bit sometimes. It’s not about feeling like you need to take the blame, either.
