At the back of the store you sat down and contemplated an item. Walking by, I said, “it fits you well”. You smiled and retorted, “my kids will all want in it,” I teased “all at once?” I found nothing to purchase. On my way out, you were in line to check out with that item and one other. Rather than just smiling and passing by, we struck up a short conversation. You were relaxed and friendly. I was drawn to continue, especially when you liked my hat. So we talked some more. But you were called to check out, so I said “I’ll pray for you”....and I walked away. I wish I had stayed and walked you out. No ring on your hand, maybe we could have enjoyed some other conversations! If I should have stayed, please let me know. I have been praying for you.
