Video game music cover band seeking musicians

Hello, A friend and I are looking to start a video game music cover band. We’re both multi-instrumentalists who have a soft spot for music from the 8-, 16-, and 32-/64-bit generations. We’re looking for a drummer and a guitarist or synth player to help perform some of our favorite soundtracks live. Here’s some of what’s on our mood board: -Streets of Rage 2 -Out Run -Mega Man 2 -Castlevania 3 -Sonic 2 -Mario Kart 64 -Earthbound -Final Fantasy series We’re planning to use synths and samples as well as standard rock/pop instrumentation (guitar/bass/drums.) Our specific “style” is something that we’ll figure out once personnel is set, but we’re not aiming to sound like any specific video game music band out there. We want to recreate this music in a venue where other people can enjoy it. The right bandmates will have a professional attitude, attention to musical detail, a love for classic games, and an inclusive approach to musical influences and the world at large. We are looking to play out live, but we have careers and other bands, so this is a fun side project. Interested?
