looking to rent a dachshund

Looking to rent a dachshund (or any puppy) for an afternoon or a few hours for my bf who is finishing a very stressful year of teaching sometime around Friday June 11th - Sunday June 13th. Whether we play with him in the backyard or talk on a walk to the dog park, I am hoping to find someone in OC who is willing to let us "dogsit" for a bit. Name your price as I'm looking to brighten his day after a very long school year. He comes from a very dog-friendly family who have had many dachshunds over the years. However, due to his work schedule right now, he currently does not have a dog. We've tried the "puppy party" thing last year, but it's ta bit too many dogs squeezed in a small caged area for an hour and costs way too much for the experience. Thought we'd try this route. Long shot, but perhaps there is some dachshund owner out there looking for a "dog sitter" for a few hours one afternoon. Thanks!
