Description

It is the hope of Karla Clayton, Linda O’Callaghan, and Linda Breidenbach that many will be able to join in the celebration of Jim’s life. We will gather where Jim will be laid to rest at Poplar Hill Cemetery (west side of S. Dixie Dr. between Crest Hill Dr. and Stonequarry Rd., Vandalia) for a short service at 11:00 am. Follow the north entrance in and proceed to the back of the cemetery. The road will curve to the left. Park along the side of the road. Following the service, we will then proceed to the Vandalia United Methodist Church (200 S. Dixie Drive) for a reception in Fellowship Hall. You may park behind the church and enter through the rear door to the north along Tionda Drive. We have gathered NUMEROUS books from Jim’s outstanding library and many mementos (you know how he loved Winnie the Pooh!?!) available for his friends and former students to take as a remembrance. We hope you can join us as we remember this special man and the important role he played in the lives of so many students and friends. Do help us spread the word to your friends and former classmates... the more, the merrier! If you (or your parents) can attend, please RSVP here so we can provide an estimate to the caterer. Questions? Call or email Linda Breidenbach ([email protected]; 937-898-6693)
