Hiring at an East Williamsburg (Montrose L) bar: * Safety Liason We are seeking someone to compliment our licensed security to ensure that our customers are safe and that any problems are immediately identified and addressed. Role is similar to a "consent guardian" at some establishments or scene parties, but we'd like this person to keep a broader view of safety risks that may present themselves. Must be able to talk to people in a way that de-escalates conflict. Current law requires you to be vaccinated. Pay is $20/hr., on the books only. * Handyman/woman/person We need someone to help us make improvements to our physical space. Must: be able to lift 50 lbs., work on a ladder, and be able to get things done with minimal supervision. Should have experience with at least half of the following: drywall framing/hanging/taping, painting, running wires/conduit, sawing, drilling, sanding, caulking, basic plumbing, LEDs/low voltage. Pay is $22/hr., on the books only. * Bar Back/Porter Must have "some" experience working in a bar or restaurant and be willing to work hard, show up on time every time, and make the rest of the staff's job easier. Clean things, organize things,Current law requires you to be vaccinated. Pay is minimum $16/hr.
