We need to re home our wire haired dachshunds. They are 5 years old, very healthy, completely house trained & crate trained and are very affectionate. And, they are adorable. They love to be with children and are comfortable with other dogs. They have always been together, so that would be ideal, though we think they would manage ok if separated. They are high energy dogs and need to have a couple of good walks each day (which we can no longer do) or live where they can run in a fenced yard. They respond well to verbal commands of sit, stay & leave it. They really want to be around their people and will find trouble if left alone for any length of time.
