Juneteenth Celebration Guided Trail Run/Hike and more! Join us Saturday, June 19th at 8:00 am for a guided trail run/ hike at the Griffith Park Old Zoo. The hike will start at 8:30 on a marked out-and-back course that takes you through some of the hidden gems of Griffith Park all the way up to Hollywood Peak with views of the Hollywood sign, Burbank, Downtown, and much more! This is an all ages and all skill levels event so even if you are not a hiker or a trail runner feel free to join! You can turn around whenever you have had enough! We will have music and refreshments at the conclusion of the hike. Salomon will be joining us for a shoe demo so you can try out some of the best trail shoes on the market! We will also be raffling off a brand new pair of Salomon shoes along with race entries for some local races and many more goodies. Bring out your double-dutch ropes, picnic blankets, and wide-brim hats! It's a celebration! There is plenty of free parking in the lots nearest the Old Zoo! This is a free event but if you reserve a $5 ticket you receive 10 raffle tickets! Raffle tickets will be $1 on the day of the event. We hope to see you there!
