In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in the Lindenhurst Patch: LINDENHURST, NY — The fast-growing Island Empanada chain will soon be opening its 9th Long Island location in Lindenhurst. Peter Muino, 53, and his wife, Kerry Muino, 50, of Holbrook, plan to open the eatery on 646 N. Wellwood Avenue next month. The duo also own the ice cream shop, Emack & Bolio's, in Manorville and they are also the former owners of a FedEx Ground Fleet. They started their new venture after selling the fleet last October.
