Juneteenth Members Kickoff BBQ & Pool Party Juneteenth Membership Kick-Off hosted by our Social and Cultural Committee and Membership Committee will be located downtown Minneapolis, MN at the Club House of Chapter President Hudson's Apartment Complex, which has a rentable kitchen, game room, 4 TVS, vending machine and a small swimming pool deck that is open with two gas grills, following CDC and property manager's guidelines. We have rented out and reserved the space for our Membership to come together, relax, enjoy ourselves, and exercise team building and engagement as well as invite special guests who may be on the fence of joining the chapter to come and get to know our current ELT and members. We will include an educational trivia throughout the day regarding Juneteenth history via social media Facebook and Instagram Live making it an hybrid event. We will also educate and encourage participants to sign the Crown Act petition and send letters to their Senators for the Justice in Policing Act, and engage in dialogue around the People’s Legislative Assembly.
