Description

Honoring Our Fallen Heroes this Memorial Day Tomorrow, we pause to honor those brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom. We march in parades, speak words of remembrance, and pay tribute to their unwavering service to this nation. We also reflect on their families, who must live with the pain of their loss, and to them, we extend our humble gratitude, prayers, and support because we, too, grieve with them.Remember their names if you knew them personally. Remember the lives they led at home and their selfless devotion as they were deployed. Remember that our nation owes a debt to them which we can never repay, because here in America, the great land of opportunity, you have it all, because they gave it all. I invite you to join my family and me as we pay our deepest respects to America's fallen soldiers during the Memorial Day Parade at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow. The parade will begin at the intersection of Maple and Water streets following Maple Street to Firehouse Road to Rubber Avenue, proceeding onto Church Street, and ending at The Green. I wish you all a safe Memorial Day weekend with your loved ones. In gratitude to those who served, State Rep. Rosa C. RebimbasDeputy House Republican Leader70th General Assembly DistrictNaugatuck
