I am a groomer and a client could no longer keep this golden doodle. She’s a 3 year old, current on all shots and vetting, and she was just groomed. Unfortunately, she was a pelted shavedown. She is good with kids and other dogs! Unknown around cats but probably good. She’s friendly. Could use some basic training but no behavior issues. She does excited pee sometimes but not always. I’ve known this dog for about a year. She would love an active home with a fenced yard or with someone who loves the outdoors and will take her on frequent outings in the outdoors. She loves to play. She’s a sweet dog who would love a sweet owner. She’s currently located in Franklin NC but I can have her brought to Ellijay, GA, as my sister lives there and I visit frequently. If you currently have pets, I will require a vet reference. If you currently have a breed that needs to be groomed, I will require a groomer reference. She will need to be groomed once a month, forever. Average cost is $60 for a bath and blow dry or $80 for a haircut. If you plan to do it yourself you’ll have to demonstrate that you own the necessary tools to do it correctly. Homeowners are preferred but if you rent, if you can provide proof you’re allowed to have a pet and I can confirm with your landlord, you’re welcome to apply. Adopter will have to sign a contract that if they can’t keep her, she comes back to me. She will not go to just anyone, so introduce yourself and tell me what makes you an ideal home when you inquire. Interested parties are welcome to meet her. She has a low rehoming fee to a great home.
