I have client who is on IHSS, but is having a VERY difficult time finding a local caregiver/provider in the Healdsburg/Windsor/Santa Rosa area who is already on the provider list...and the social workers keep telling us to look elsewhere so here we are. Elderly lady in late 60s, hard of hearing, and with chronic health issues that prevents her from doing strenuous housework, yardwork, etc. needs ongoing weekly assistance. She has somewhat limited mobility but can move around on her own. Preferably looking for a female caregiver who may already be on IHSS, and who may want to earn paid hours for taking on a client and who may not come up on the provider list. Duties will include (but not be limited to): -Regular housework (doing dishes, dusting, cleaning counters, sweeping & mopping whole house, changing and washing bedding, etc.) -laundry -OCCASIONAL cooking, if it's a mutual agreement -OCCASIONAL yardwork maintenance, again if mutual agreement. -Possible accompanying for errands around town or to and from SR. We are looking for someone dedicated, committed, who has great communication, and is very patient. If you would like to just volunteer; that is great and we could work around schedules since it's not paid! If you would like to discuss being paid, it was have to be as an official IHSS provider (absolutely NO out of pocket money will be paid by client). Signing up through the IHSS system will be required, and it does take some time after going through the entire sign up process to get officially paid (back pay is available of course).
