Seeking pros for a Rush Tribute... and more. Guitarist with many years experience seeking a combination of talents (up to 5 musicians) for a Tribute to Rush, and... an original side project. Lerxst is my heaviest influence as a guitarist, some 40 years now... but I also lean into players such as Carlton, Satch, Vai, E Johnson, Govan... etc. for inspiration. As a Lifeson devotee, I make believable musical sense. Tones, textures, and timing are everything to his style. I try to hit every part as if it were my own. Consistency breeds familiarity, once it's embedded into the dna... the rest is repetition. Hopefully you're that person as well... bring your best, work out the rest. Of course "pro" means many many things... rest assured, I am, and have "paid the dues". I will handle liason, but decisions will be an all band affair... if 1? Then All. In terms of original work, I'm seeking rockers... in the traditional sense. My songs range from swamp rock, pseudo-groove metal, to Elton style ballads... and am hoping to find collaborators who are recording musicians. I would love to find improvisers, arrangers, and technically sound players to create "on the fly", and find that "sound that will define the band" Demos are by request only.
