Pride in the Park Saturday, June 5, 2021 -- 1PM - 5PM Hasbrouck Park The Village of New Paltz and the Maya Gold Foundation’s Youth Action Team invite the community to join us for a free LGBTQ+ Pride celebration in Hasbrouck Park on Saturday, June 5 2021 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Silent Disco in the Park *after party* presented by Quiet Hours NY (dancing starts at 5). Featuring: - Drag performances from Haus of Peculiar - Songs from Resisterhood Choir - Kids Zone presented by Maya Gold Foundation’s Youth Action Team and Amelia - Ulster County Mobile Vaccination Unit - Pop-up Skate Park, thanks to Kingston Needs a Skatepark and New Paltz Skate Garden - Narcan and Narcan Trainings thanks to New Paltz Rescue, NP Office of Community Wellness, and Ulster County Outreach Program of Hudson Valley Community Services - Really, Really Free Market (bring something you no longer want or need, and take something new to you!) - Voter Registration with New Paltz Democratic Committee & Ulster County Young Democrats - Smashing negativity with NP Youth Program - Henna with the Trippy Turtle - Other cool projects and organizations, come check ‘em out! - YOU being your fabulous, LGBTQ+ self. Rainbows and other fabulous costumes are highly encouraged!! This is a DIY event brought to you by your local Village officials and the Youth Action Team and anyone else who wants to volunteer. There will not be any vending so be sure to pack your own picnic (and leave no trace) and Bring Your Own Pride! Rain Day: Sunday, June 6th 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM **Whatever CDC guidelines are current the day of the event will be followed and enforced. **Please celebrate safely and respect others' boundaries; we are still in a pandemic.
