Hi all, I’m a mom of 2 looking to watch another little one (ideally age 0-3) in my home a few days a week. My children are 3.5 and 1.5. We have a spacious, clean house with no pets and do not smoke. I’m interested in providing part time care, 3 or 4 days a week- weekends okay, too. I understand that the cost of childcare can be a burden for many, because of that I’m happy to negotiate a price that will work for both of us. I think this could be a great set up for someone looking for an alternative to a large center, or someone who wants a bit of socialization for their child while they get things done at home. About our home: Outside we have a large backyard with a mud kitchen and water table. Inside, we have a pikler climbing gym, playroom and large table for crafts and meals. We also have a double stroller that is great for walks around town or to the playground up the street. If your little one is an infant, I have many baby accessories as my youngest has only recently out grown them. Our house is calming by design, and there will be a safe, designated place for your little one to nap. About us: We love nature based play and aren’t afraid to get dirty. Crafts, music and sensory play make up a large portion of our learning time. We watch minimal TV (mainly Bluey at breakfast). I also aim to engage the kids in household chores as much as possible. Sweeping, watering plants, and folding towels are some popular tasks with my 3yo. Additionally, my husband is mail carrier and will likely be out of the house unless it’s his day off. We ask that anyone interested be Covid conscience, however masks will not be required. My husband is fully vaccinated, I am partially (fully as of 6/23).
