Need to rehome this sweet girl!!

Meeting with hopeful adopters is a MUST. There will be a small rehoming fee according to Craigslist guidelines. We need to find a new home for Bell. Bell is a mix between black lab and boxer, and is 7 years old. She gets along well with cats, older kids & women, but takes a little time to warm up to men and other dogs. I think it’s a protection instinct but it’s important to note that she’s never bitten. She is playful and full of energy, and knows basic commands (sit, stay, shake, etc). Due to unforeseen circumstances we have been living in an apartment for the last two years, and will likely continue to for the next several years. My husband and I both work full time and have an infant at home. We can’t take her to dog parks because she does get defensive around new dogs, so she doesn’t have an outlet for her energy and has turned destructive- taking our older daughter’s stuffed animals, getting into the trash, destroying her toys, that sort of thing. She doesn’t interact well with the baby and has started to growl at our oldest. She needs a lot of love and attention, and we just can’t supply it. We don’t have the time/energy to give her the home she deserves and want her to be happy! She loves stuffed animals and lounging on the couch. Her favorite thing about outside is stopping every 3.2 seconds to smell something new. Tug of war is the best game ever. She loves the sprinkler and swimming pool, but HATES the rain and baths. Belly rubs are wonderful. I mistakenly cut a toenail too short when she was little, so now she doesn’t like anyone even touching her paws. If the weather is humid she does tend to get yeast buildup in her ears, but it’s an easy fix with no vet appointment needed. She’s my girl and I love her, but our home is not the best environment for her anymore.
