My Serene Life treadmill belt is slipping. I lubricated it and also tightened it but it is still slipping when I walk on it and I can also stop it at slow speeds. I don't know if I overtightened the belt. Or possibly the drive belt is loose. The treadmill is less than a year old so I doubt that the drive belt needs replacing but I do give the treadmill a lot of wear so I can't rule out that possibility. Please only respond to this posting if you have experience in fixing treadmills, preferably in a commercial setting. I will pay $75.00 if you can fix it today. I would like to use it later today or this evening. I am assuming the job will not take very long at all even if the drive belt needs to be adjusted.
