We are looking for another Part-Time Assistant to help us keep things rolling!
Jane Does provides Professional Organizing and Moving Assistance to the entire Portland-Vancouver Metro (and sometimes beyond). We tailor our services to each client, creating systems that work in their current season of life. We haul away donations and disposal, as well as bringing needed supplies to get the job done.
We are a team that just gets shit done. If we don't know the answer, we Google and YouTube for solutions until we do.
We need someone that can manage themselves, is open to straightforward feedback/instructions (we don't have time to sugar-coat things and we expect that to be a two-way street), and is willing to start small and grow with us.
This is a 1099-Contract position (not an employee). Write your own schedule, just meet the deadline(s). The hours are part time and variable to start (2-10 hours per week expected).
The position is a "back-office" position to start: helping itemize donations, gather supplies, and complete research/administrative tasks to help keep us going. The right person will also help with Moving Assistance (packing and unpacking, no physical moving). Possibility to become a sub-contractor for our Organizing services in the future.
Must have vehicle (no, ride-share and public transit won't work, you will be hauling donations etc.)
Must have computer and cell phone.
