Gutters-Plus is a growing Residential and Commercial Gutter company offering both installation and Cut & Drop Services. Located in Hudson, NH, we are a team-oriented company that takes pride in growing our team from within. As an expanding company we are looking to grow our business and team in the Southern New Hampshire area. Position Summary: Responsibilities of the General Manager consist of but not limited to the following: Self-motivated, organized operations professional and must possess good communication skills and be able to multi-task and carry out various projects at one time. The General Manager will oversee and lead staff in the execution of contractual expectations to the highest levels of customer satisfaction while ensuring employment law compliance, adherence to internal policies and procedures, in accordance with federal and state standards and in collaboration with executive management to sustain profitability and organizational growth. The General Manager will have full P&L responsibility for the business division. The position will also have full H&R responsibility for the division’s employees. Train and supervise all technicians on all services. Monitor and evaluate performance. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. He or she will be responsible to manage team while maintaining a close eye on new talent and recruits to build your team. Develop marketing and manage lead generation throughout the entire cycle. Work closely with Management team of Peter DeSalvo Contracting to review successes and failures. Primary Responsibilities Job Description: • Develop an understanding of the major business components • Required to ensuring compliance with the established policies/procedures • Works the necessary hours per week in order to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner • Full Profit and Loss responsibility for the Division, review weekly results with Director of Operations and/or Controller • Manage expenses to maintain company profit margins • Recruiting key employees, maintaining performance reviews, ensuring all policy, procedures and labor laws are followed, including safety policies. • Ensure performance standards are enforced and proper coaching or documented disciplinary action is enacted. Consult with Director of Operations for serious infractions occur or when progressive action is needed • Interact with clients to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and solving customer complaints • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals • Recruiting, training, and ensuring all employees work safely • Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery, including vehicles. • Manage and maintain an accurate inventory system to reduce outages both in trucks and onsite • Define and update all safety policies and procedures in accordance with, DOT, OSHA, and DOL • Develop a strategic plan for operational and sales growth • Manage sales process from 1st customer contact to final inspection • Maintain consistent follow-up procedures on all open bids • Set and achieve goals for sales volume, closing rates and gross profits. • Participate in planning company growth and development and support company mission by following through on initiatives • Increase sales by upselling customers with other services that Gutter-Plus provides • Maintain company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with customers in a professional manner, being punctual for appointments, returning phone calls promptly, etc. • Assure that all necessary information pertaining to jobs are communicated to crews as necessary • Demonstrates positive leadership through all actions with all employees Please email resume.
