Hi everyone! **$300 adoption fee** So my husband and I have a parrot named Zeus. She's a grey female Indian Ring Neck Parrot, We've have her now for about 9 years, my husband gave her to me as a gift. At first she was wonderful, super sweet and very cuddly but about a year or so after having her she changed drastically. I'm a veterinary technician and I've brought many animals in and out of this house and maybe she didn't like that or I have no idea but this bird and I do not get along and as much as we love her, we have to do what's best for her. She's not happy here with us. She lunges at us and has caught us a few times. I talk to her EVERY SINGLE DAY since I've had her, I even take her to work with me but nothing is working. She was purchased at a very shady pet place names "Paradise" in Park Slope but a few days after my hubby brought her home the pet store was shut down by marshals so I never got a clear answer as to where she really came from. She came with no leg band to identify her. The man that sold her to my husband said that she was 4 months old at the time of purchase but he also told him that the parrot is a male which turned out to be a female. I know she's miserable here. We have tried what we can, I've taken her to be checked out, the doctors never find anything wrong with her! I've tried different foods, fruits and veggies, I take her back and forth to work, we even moved and got her her very own room with a window and everything but still super aggressive with us ONLY. She's not just a bird to us, she's part of the family but again, she's very unhappy. I am ONLY giving her to someone that has experience with these kind of birds. parakeets, pigeons, etc... don't count (it's not the same) preferably someone that works in the veterinary field that could give her the attention she needs. Please help me help Zeus. I am even willing to ship her just as long as she's in good hands. **$300 adoption fee **Comes with huge brand new cage.
