Gracie needs a new home

Description

We rescued our Gracie after she was abandoned in Chicago. We fostered Gracie for months to ensure that she got along with our older female Shepard. They played and got along so well that we adopted Gracie. Gracie is loving and friendly to all people but has recently become aggressive to our older dog. She plays well with other family pets but she cannot live in a home with our old dog. Sadly, we realize that Gracie needs to be the only dog in a home. Gracie is potty trained and loving to all humans, however she reacts to bunnies and squirrels and other animals. She barks and wants to chase them. She enjoys long walks and loves the smells of the outdoors. She has been described as the most loving pet we have ever had. (We have had multiple dogs for over 30 years always mixed gender with never an issue until we brought two female dogs together). We will take our time to find the right home for this beautiful girl. It has been a heartbreaking experience but we must do what is best for our older dog and for Gracie. If you can love and care for our Gracie, please contact us. I will miss her kisses, her rapid wagging tail and her excitement at a new bone or when she sees her leash knowing a walk is imminent. I look forward to answering any questions about Gracie and will wait patiently until we find the right home for her. Text Frank at
