I was given a six year old liver colored Shih Tzu about 3mos ago, which is why I missed the start of her heat cycle, never mine the fact she did not bleed and sleeps in my bed, I know now and only have a few days left of this one. I thought I had a sire all set and head to go at the last moment the bottom fell out and I'm now looking for a new one. My desire is to sell her puppies and fly to New Zealand bring back a new bloodline to help with the existing ones on Island. She has no papers and having bred and sold puppies, maybe not this breed, for 50 years I will tell you most people do not care about papers...I never did yet I seems to have gravity towards the registered bred breeds. And in my younger days the German Shepherds I bred, I personal, with the guiding help of a German Breeder who moved to America, imported this breed to California. If you have a male and wish a puppy back I will tell you what I teach my puppies before they go to their new homes. 1. House broken 2. Leash trained 3. Come when called 4. Sit to get petted.
