Learn all about this gorgeous white wine taking Washington by storm (at least we think it is...). Join us for tasting and learning and FUN! Albariño - an import from the Spanish/Portuguese, is one of our favorite white wines of the moment, so it felt natural to do a Master Class in its honor. Join us to taste some domestic and international versions of this gorgeous grape - including our very own Columbia Valley Albariño! Class goers will receive tastes of 5 Albariños, bread and butter (palate cleansers, naturally) as well as class materials and lecture by Liz Moss Woerman. Barnard Griffin began in 1983 with borrowed grapes and a rented cellar. It has since become one of Washington’s most enduring and award-winning wineries. At the helm then and now is one of the most experienced winemakers in Washington State, Rob Griffin. In addition to the winery production facility, the Richland campus is home to a tasting room, full service restaurant and fused glass art studio.
