Murray hosts a workshop series designed to help attendees share their meaningful stories with the world. The lovely Copia on the Boulevard was selected as a venue of choice specifically because it offers the perfect ambiance for creative thought and connectedness to take place. This workshop is designed for you if you have a story: That's still in your head. You've written down in rough form. You've edited into a finished (maybe even published) work of art! But you haven't yet shared your story aloud with the world. Each session includes a blend of instruction, application, reflection, and discussion and focuses on a different storytelling skill or technique. Workshop sessions can be taken as stand-alone or in a sequence to further enhance storytelling skills and abilities. Exercises and suggested homework will be assigned at the end of each session to further skill-building. BONUS: When you sign up and pay for all three sessions, you will receive a beautifully bound journal for note-taking, thought tracking, and worksheet organizing. What to bring: Notebook and pen. As a videographer, I've produced and preserved hundreds of stories for business clients as well as families of loved ones at memorial services. To me, there is no greater honor or privilege than to capture and preserve stories. We all have stories. But sometimes, we need a little help or inspiration to prepare it for another person to hear. We want it to be clear and engaging with a masterful message. It's in telling our story that its power is released. That power can manifest as hope, healing, enlightenment, and entertainment to name a few. Stories help us understand our present, past and provide a means to preserve history for future generations. But most of all, stories open the door to self-discovery in a way that nothing else can. If you have a desire to compose, share, and preserve your story, I welcome you to attend this workshop series.
