All runs include an all you can eat donut / bagel buffet! Wave Formats(All races will be done in waves of 30-35 with awards for 5k runners) Race Option #1: Columbus 5K - Trophies & Medals! Have fun running with family, friends and fellow runners!! You can be grouped together with people you know. Run this exciting cross country course. Also, 1st in each wave receives a neat trophy, 2nd - 5th receive a medal for each wave at finish line - no waiting! Race Option #2: TREASURE RUN + Character Breakfast = Candy & Prize Hunt! (.5 or 1 mile option) - this super fun version involves doing the race and running to 2 candy & prize zones during the race! At each treasure zone you'll get prizes, candy, and all kinds of neat items (work like a candy & prize hunt at Easter!). Pirates (runners) will have fun as they search and find all kinds of treasures, prizes & candy. After the run enjoy a donut & bagel buffet with a fun character breakfast!VIP SPECIAL: All runners can purchase a VIP Pass to the Bounce Park - early access (10AM -11AM) to our fun bounce park after the race -only $6 - unlimited access! Bounce pass is $12 at the event. Join us for this fun! Race Limit: Only accepting 250 runners. Hurry, this race will fill up!Wave Starts: Racers will be placed into groups of 35-40 and staged at 2-3 minute wave start times (we will put you in same group as family and friends).Wave Setup Wave start time will be assigned after registration. You can be grouped together with family and friends, just make sure you all use the same "Team Name" when registering. We'll group everyone into the same wave with the same Team Name. Fun! (you will receive a color coded race bib that will help to identify your race wave).Want your own wave start? Create a Team Name. Share it with others, and enter it into the "Team Name" field when registering. Must have 25 runners and up to 40 max. You will have your own race wave and we'll still give awards to the top 5!How to get grouped together: There is a field called "Team Name". Have everyone in your group use the same Team Name and we will group you together. Maximum grouping is 40.Staging Area: 10 minutes prior to your race, your wave start will be announced. Spectator InformationSpectators are allowed. Thanks! Inclement Weather PolicyThe Columbus Run will start as scheduled at 9:15AM - 9:40AM regardless of rain, snow or cold temperatures. If there is visible lightning in the area, the race will be delayed for a minimum of 15 minutes. The race would only be further delayed, postponed or cancelled if extreme conditions jeopardize the safety of participants.
