Description

Come walk/run/crawl for a good cause! Each adult registration comes with one free beer. Each kid registration comes with a medal (register early to guarantee a medal). I'm Ashley Arsenault and I'm so excited that I was chosen to run the 2020 Boston Marathon to benefit the New England Center for Children.  I live in Clinton, MA with my husband, Jake, and my two children Jacob (5) and Aria (3). I work full-time as the Assistant Director of Finance for NECC as well as take full-time courses at Nichols College. The Boston Marathon will be my 3rd marathon, and I know it will be an experience that I will never forget.  I have been working at the New England Center for Children for almost 6 years and in those years I have learned so much about the autism spectrum, which was something I was not really exposed to previously. My first year, I was able to sit in the cafeteria to eat my lunch and I was overwhelmed by all that I saw. I saw these amazing students, with patient and caring teachers. I was so happy to see that these kids were in a caring, calm environment getting what they needed. I knew that working here would wind up being the best decision of my life and I still whole-heartedly believe that.  NECC is working to change the lives of not only the kids who attend here, but also the thousands of others who receive our services through our partner classrooms, our consulting work, our ACE software, as well as the lives of countless other children who benefit from the research done here.  I'm so proud to be a part of this, and by donating, you could be a part of it too!  All donations to NECC fund research on early intensive behavioral instruction, ensure students have the best equipment to meet individual learning needs, provide vocational training, support graduate training opportunities for teachers, promote our ACE® Software System, and allow us to share educational research findings with clinicians and teachers around the world. By supporting NECC, YOU are leading the way in autism education and research. Learn more at www.necc.org
