Cancer Walk 4 ALL is TYRONE C.A.R.E.S. signature annual walk, run, ride, stroll and fun run to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer. Cancer Walk 4 ALL is a tribute to TYRONE Council Jr 10/5/05-10/22/14. The event goal is to raise awareness for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) , the most common type of childhood cancer. We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 26, 2021 to walk/run/ride to help support ALL children who are currently fighting cancer or who have battled cancer in the past and remember those we lost. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to support in the fight against Childhood Cancer. Every year we are inspired by new supporters with the determination to honor Childhood Cancer survivors and to tell the world Kids Can’t Fight Cancer Alone! About #TYRONE C.A.R.E.S: TYRONE C.A.R.E.S. is dedicated to the fight against ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and Childhood Cancer by creating awareness and support for pediatric patients, survivors and families. TYRONE C.A.R.E.S., was founded in 2014 by Januari Sharp, M.S. Ed. in Harlem, NY in honor of her nephew Tyrone Council Jr. who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 7. The organization was inspired by Tyrone Council Jr. and formed in the midst of Tyrone's aggressive treatment to build awareness and support for children diagnosed with cancer. Recognizing that the fight against Childhood Cancer Awareness should be a priority. On October 22, 2014, days after Tyrone's 9th birthday, Tyrone gained his angel wings after a courageous 16-month battle with cancer. Tyrone was a true CHAMPION! A warrior cancer fighter. 10/05/05 -10/22/14 Tyrone’s legacy lives on through special events and programs to honor his courageous battle with cancer. The organization he inspired create many opportunities for awareness events to help provide support for children who are currently battling cancer and aid for families who need financial assistance. Since the inception of TYRONE C.A.R.E.S. in 2014, awareness activities and events are designed to increase Childhood Cancer awareness, research and resources for children and families. Events include SuperHero/SuperYou Bingo Game Night Fundraiser, TYRONE TREASURES Holiday Gift & Toy Distribution to New York Presbyterian Children’s Hospital, Pajamas 4 ALL Pajama Drive for The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, New York, We Wear Jammies community awareness event, Cancer Walk 4 ALL and The Orange Sucker Project. TYRONE C.A.R.E.S. GIVEBACK initiaives support local Children'a Hospitals, Back2School Drives and the SideWalk SideWalk GiveBack.
