I don’t see myself forgetting your choice to completely block me from your life and treat me like I never existed. It was cruel. I lived through it once. I will never allow it again with anyone in my life. If someone chooses to treat me like I’m dead to them, they can think of me as dead to them because I am. At the same time, I completely understand why you did it. I just can’t trust that you wouldn’t do it to me again. I know you would. I don’t trust you. I don’t see that changing. I need authenticity and you haven’t been that with me for a very long time.
