JMDC Discovery Camp is a STEAM based summer day camp for Beginning Explorers ages 5-12 years old exploring many unique aspects of our world. Spark discovery with JMDC’s Mad Lab Extravaganza! This week we challenge the minds of scientist explorers as we tackle fun and creative projects scoped towards science, technology, and engineering! Explorers will engage in hands-on science investigation to practice real world problem solving and discover the wonders of science! Camp days will be packed with team building activity designed to inspire a fascination for the world around us. Explorers will be on a closed campus. For drop-off, gates open at 8:45 am for check-in, program starts at 9:00 am, and gates will close at 9:15 am. For pick-up, gates open at 12:45 pm, program ends at 1:00 pm and Explorers should be on their way home by 1:15 pm. If you have questions, please call our office, 951.685.5818. Activities include: • Blast off with DIY bottle rockets • Bombs away with Egg Drop experiments • Rock Candy Crystals and tasty experiments • Terraforming fizzy planets with celestial bath bombs JMDC has 82 acres used for Learning Expeditions (school field trips), a large variety of daily Family Expeditions, special weekend activities, community events, and private parties.
