Help us pick up the Memorial Day Flags from Stones River National Cemetery. We're looking for some dedicated volunteers to help our staff remove flags from more than 7,000 gravesites in Stones River National Cemetery. We will pick up the flags and do some preliminary sorting to begin preparing for Memorial Day 2022. Registration is required. All volunteers should wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a full water bottle. Stones River National Battlefield, a unit of the National Park Service, preserves and interprets the landscapes where one of the most important battles of the American Civil War raged from December 31, 1862 through January 2, 1863.
