Press release from the Town of Dedham: 05/28/2021 2:30 PM Eversource Gas: Lincoln Street; continue to work on services and will be another 2.5 - 3 weeks. Adams Street:  Continue installing gas services.  Elmwood Ave:  No work at this time.  Permit being Reviewed.  Work will begin in June Court Street:  construction to begin the end of June. Eastern Ave:  Construction to begin end of June of July.  This work will be coordinated with our Complete Streets Project. Sprague Street Sidewalk Construction:  Limits of work are from Cedar St to Greenlodge St and Cedar St to Dresser Ave We will be excavating and installing granite curb from Dresser Ave to Cedar St Resident flyers will be dropped off for your notifications of concrete pours Annual Roads Program We are working with the contractor for a schedule for Fresno, Greensboro, Preston, Lamoine, Lower East Street, River Street, and Stoughton Rd.  If a resident would like a tree planted in their front yard then please contact [email protected] and we will meet and discuss the proper species for the location Rustcraft Rd Eversource Electric is installing new conduit and they will be continuing for the next 4-5 weeks. They are beginning by the MBTA train station and will be installing new conduit connecting into existing conduit by the batting cages. They are continuing on this job.   Expect traffic delays Bridge and Ames Street Reconstruction Utility Companies will continue to transfer their wires Continue full depth construction on Bridge Street from McGolf towards the intersection of Pine St Ames St and Bridge Street Expect Traffic Delays Paving is scheduled for the first week of June.   If you have any issues with the construction on Bridge Street please contact Northern Construction   The Contact is Graham Johnson: Office: (413) 289-1230 x209 [email protected]  Eastern Ave from Whiting Ave to Rte 1 The installation of the water main continues and the contractor is continuing towards Rte 1. The Rte 1 crossing will be at night the week of Sunday Night June 6th. There will be a crew installing services, hydrants and gate valves beginning this week If possible the Dedham Police will try to maintain two way traffic thru one lane.   Expect Delays  Pine Street Work is continuing on the water main installation Pine Street will be closed to thru traffic from Bridge to Kiley.  Traffic will be allowed traveling from Needham towards Bridge Street as long as traffic can pass safely.
