Join Region 4 to learn how to transform a hardcover book into a curio box. In this three-hour, in-person workshop, Region 4 Rep Sue Uhlig, will give a brief introduction of the history of curio boxes followed by guided instruction in how to make the curio box book. Participants will need a hardcover book, an assortment of ephemera and decorative papers, a glue stick, a ruler, scissors, and an X-Acto knife. Please, bring your mask. Sue will provide a mat cutter, white foam board, PVA glue, bone folders, extra X-Acto blades, and pencils. Participants will receive 3 hours of Act 48 credit. The Pennsylvania Art Education Association actively supports and promotes visual art education through professional development, leadership and service.
