MERIDEN, CT — A Hamden man has been charged in a Meriden shooting, according to police. Jquan Christie, 22, of Oberlin Road, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, and carrying a pistol without a permit.
Police responded to a shooting on Paddock Avenue on May 21. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the head.
Police identified Christie as a suspect following investigation and he was arrested on a warrant.
Christie was held on $500,000 bond.
