Press release from the Jefferson Parish Government: May 28, 2021 JEFFERSON, LA - Starting Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily, the southside lane of eastbound W. Esplanade Ave. will be closed. Motorists will use the available lane for travel. The closure is necessary to build a new lift station near Houma Blvd., at a cost of $897,000.
