Beginners bluegrass jam

Hello! I'm a pretty beginner to intermediate level guitarist and very novice banjo player looking to play with other folks in the East Bay! While I don't mind playing with more experienced players, I was hoping to play with relative beginners or people who won't mind taking it slow and simple, so we can practice playing with others, learn new songs and styles, get to experiment a bit, and have some fun. I was thinking of playing bluegrass, old-time, folk, or americana, but open to playing other genres too. Would love to meet up in a park or yard in Berkeley or Oakland.
